GDGJE reached a strategic cooperation with Federation of Goldsmiths and Jewellers Associations of Malaysia.

On September 14th, 2017, Guangdong Gems&Jade Exchange  (hereinafter referred to as "GDGJE") signed a Memorandum of understanding on cooperation with Federation of Goldsmiths and Jewellers Associations of Malaysia (FGJAM) in Hongkong jewelry and Gem Fair. Diao Ailin, Guangzhou municipal government deputy secretary general, Chen Yongfang, deputy director of the Guangzhou Commerce Commission, and Hong Lihong, Deputy Chairman of Guangdong Assets and Equity Exchange Group witnessed the signing ceremony.

Malaysia is a renowned jewelry country and was once the world's famous tin mining with advanced smelting technology. Recent years, With high-quality handmade jewelry being designed by the extraordinary talent and exquisite craft Malaysia craftsmen, it enables Malaysia's jewelry stand out among numerous gems in the world. Therefore, Malaysia jewelry products is widely accepted by local and international market. At present, more than 200 enterprises is mainly engaged jewelry products export business in Malaysia. In order to promote the development of Malaysia jewelry industry, Malaysia government has issued a series of preferential policies. Since 2011, it officially set on zero tariff on 300 items luxury jewelry and provide more preferential terms of trade for ASEAN partners countries including China.

Founded on April 1976, Federation of Goldsmiths and Jewellers Associations of Malaysia now has 30 years of history. FGJAM is Malaysia National Chamber of Commerce, representing 19 Malaysia goldsmiths, and jewelry industry association, which aims to promote the connection of goldsmiths and jewelry industry, regulate industry labor disputes, safeguard the legitimate rights and interests of the industry.
GDGJE gives full play to the integrated service hub function of international jewelry industry supply chain. And GDGJE will expand Jewelry industry knowledge training, cultural communication, market information exchange, import and export trade and other fields of cooperation with FGJAM so as to strengthen trade exchanges and cooperation in the jewelry industry between China and Malaysia, jointly promote win-win cooperation among goldsmiths and jewelry industries of China and Malaysia.
